Position Summary
Designs, configures, optimizes, and maintains the monitoring architecture supporting the City’s municipal fiber network.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure SNMPv3 monitoring systems.
- Develop monitoring templates and MIB configurations.
- Implement event correlation logic.
- Coordinate NMS integration with City systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise network monitoring engineering.
- Experience with SolarWinds, PRTG, LogicMonitor, Zabbix, or Nagios.
- Strong SNMPv3 expertise.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNP Enterprise
- Security+
- SolarWinds Certified Professional
